Warning: Contains spoilers from Game of Thrones Season 6
You won’t believe this amazing Game of Thrones fan theory about Rickon Stark and Umber which is so insanely detailed out that it puts an end to the Umber conspiracy discussion going on all over the internet!
In our previous post on this topic, we wrote about a fan theory indicating that Smalljon Umber was tricking Ramsay Bolton and was actually helping the Starks by handing over Rickon Stark to him. Though this theory also supported the claim that Umbers are siding with the Starks but it lacked convincing arguments. But this theory by reddit user DanDampspear puts an end to all the discussion by laying out concrete evidences. DanDampspear gave the world an epic 23-point argument explaining why the Umbers are still Stark loyalists.
The Ultimate Umber Conspiracy Theory
DanDampspear starts off by laying out some amazing foreshadowing observations.
Wow! Just look at point no. 6! We know that Game of Thrones has always been about dropping hints throughout the series that only become evident later in the show, but could this actually be true? Is it too far-fetched to think that the scene showing Ramsay wiping blood on his father’s papers hold a deeper significance? These observations are just brilliant!
Further, DanDampspear gives some really good arguments as to why Smalljon Umber would not betray the Starks and is tricking Ramsay by handing over Rickon Stark.
We bet you have started to believe in this theory! We were pretty much convinced by this point. But there is more to it. Next up, some arguments on Shaggydog’s death shown in Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 3.
Here is a close-up of the alleged head of Shaggydog. Do you think its not big enough?
If we look at arguments 16 and 17, this guy actually has a point! We have captured the expression of Smalljon Umber from the episode and he does look frightened!
You got to give it to this fan for his stark observational skills. It is very difficult not to believe this theory as it lays out some good evidence favoring the loyalty of Umbers towards the Starks.
What do you think about this theory, let us know in the comments.
