Warning: Contains spoilers from Game of Thrones Season 6

After an action packed and exciting Episode 9 of Game of Thrones Season 6, it’s now time for the Season Finale which has been announced to be the longest episode so far. Episode 9 ended with the gruesome but highly satisfying death of Ramsay Bolton (probably the best after Olly and Joffrey!) but Episode 10 promises to be an even better one in terms of Bran’s and Cersei’s storyline, Oh! And not to mention the White Walkers.

White Walkers

The title of the episode “The winds of winter” kind of gives away the fact that we will definitely see the White Walkers on screen again. The trailer also shows a white raven flying over a city (oldtown in my opinion) which according to the books, indicates the arrival of winter in Westeros. We also see a glimpse of Bran which means that hopefully we’ll get to see another flashback.

The Night King has so far not been able to breach the wall because of the Children of The Forest and the Three Eyed Raven, however Bran has now opened the doorway for him. With Jon and the Children of The Forest out of the way, the only thing which stands between the White Walkers and Westeros is the Wall.

Horn of Winter

According to the books, the Wall is vulnerable only to the Horn of Joramun or the Horn of Winter which Mance claims to own but is later burnt by Melisandre. However, Tormund, after the incident tells Jon that the horn was a fake and that they were never able to find the real horn. Let’s hope the Night King hasn’t found it yet or Westeros is soon going to be in real danger.

It makes sense that Daenerys and her dragons soon plan to land on Westeros right when the White walkers attack the Wall as she and all the Valyrian steel bearers are the only hope Westeros has if it comes to a war with the Night King and his army. Don’t the constant squabbles for the Iron Throne seem meaningless when we come to think of the white walkers invading? What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
